Surrounding her daughter with positive energy and inspiration to become the woman that SHE wants to be is at the core of Brittany’s Pink Iron philosophy.
Today’s #WomanCrushWednesday goes out to our very own Brittany Miller! Brittany joined our team this year and is focused on providing amazing Front of House service to the athletes here. We couldn’t be more excited to have Brittany on our team, as her passion for helping women become their best selves is evident in everything she does.
Brittany recently moved here from California and although she misses the beach, she still loves to be outdoors exploring, hiking, and adventuring with her sweet husband and seven-year-old daughter. She isn’t picky when it comes to food, but if she could eat one type of food for the rest of her life, it would be Mexican food. Her favorite movie is “Grease,” but she adores silly comedies like “Step Brothers” and “Talladega Nights.” And though she’s not a huge sports fan, she can sometimes be found watching a San Jose Sharks game.
One quality Brittany brings to the team that we embrace and love is her desire to learn about nutrition and how different foods affect the body. She finds it interesting to just monitor your body and see how eating different foods makes you feel!
Joining Pink Iron…
In joining the team, Brittany knew she would love Pink Iron because she loves everything PINK! But more than that, when she dug in and learned more about the philosophy of female-focused fitness, she realized that the message is all about finding the best you possible, and bringing that out of every woman. It’s not about comparing yourself to how people think you “should” be, or what society’s standard is, but Brittany feels that Pink Iron is helping women to bring out their best selves regardless of how they’re told they should be.
Brittany stays so grounded, positive, and always looking for ways to improve herself by always meeting new people, getting to know their story, and learning about what really motivates HER to be her best. One of her favorite books was “Wild” by Cheryl Strayed – after reading this book, Brittany set a goal for herself to do hard things as well, including hiking the Pacific Crest Trail.
Having a seven-year-old daughter gives Brittany a different perspective sometimes on what Pink Iron is as a brand and a movement. She wants her daughter to learn to grow into her own skin, and that she doesn’t have to compare herself to ANYONE, but to just be her very best self. Along those lines, Brittany hopes that Pink Iron becomes more than just a brand, but rather an entire mentality – and that when someone says “Think Pink!” they know it means more than just “keep working out”, but to keep seeking out your very best self, without fail.
Every day, Brittany is thankful for her friends, her family, and her health.
We are insanely lucky to have Brittany on the team and can’t wait for you to meet her too!
